தமிழியல் ஆய்வு என்பது தமிழ் மொழி, கலை, இலக்கியம், வரலாறு, பண்பாடு மொழியியல், நாட்டுப்புறவியல் என பல துறைகளை உள்ளடக்கியது .
தமிழ் மொழி மற்றும் பண்பாட்டை பற்றிய நமது புரிதலை வளர்க்கவும் தமிழ் மரபுகளை பாதுகாக்கவும் வருங்கால சந்ததியினருக்கு இதனை கடத்தவும், சமூக சமத்துவம் மற்றும் நீதிக்கான போராட்டத்திற்கு வலுவான அடித்தளத்தை அமைக்கவும், படைப்பு சிந்தனை மற்றும் விமர்சனத் திறன்களை வளர்க்கவும் தமிழியல் ஆய்வு அவசியமாகிறது.
இத்தமிழியல் ஆய்வு பல நூற்றாண்டுகளாக அதாவது, சங்க காலத்தில் தொடங்கி கடந்த பல நூற்றாண்டுகளாக வளர்ந்து வந்துள்ளது. 19-ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் ஐரோப்பிய அறிஞர்கள் வருகையால் தமிழியல் ஆய்வு ஒரு முறையான கல்வித் துறையாக உருவெடுத்தது. இன்று, உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் தமிழியல் ஆய்வுக்கான துறைகளும் இருக்கைகளும் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதனை தொடர்ந்து தமிழியல் ஆய்வு கட்டுரைகளை பதிப்பிக்க பல தமிழில் ஆய்வு இதழ்களும் வெளிவந்துள்ளன.
பல்லவி பதிப்பகத்தின் வெளியீடான “ஆயுத எழுத்து “தமிழியல் ஆய்வுக்கான ஒரு புதிய தளமாகும். இவ்விதழின் முதல் பிரதி 2013 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் மாதம் வெளியானது. 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை காலாண்டு இதழாக ஜனவரி, பிப்ரவரி ஜூலை மற்றும் அக்டோபர் மாதங்களில் வெளியாகிக் கொண்டிருந்த இவ்விதழ் 2018-ம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி முதல் ஜனவரி 2020 வரை மாத இதழாக வெளிவந்தது. 2021 முதல் புதுப்பொலிவுடன் காலாண்டு இதழாக வெளிவந்து கொண்டுள்ளது. மேலும், தமிழ்நாட்டிலுள்ள பல முன்னணி பல்கலை கழகங்கள், கல்லூரிகளுடன் இணைந்து 20-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பன்னாட்டு கருத்தரங்குகளை நடத்தி வந்துள்ளது .
சங்க இலக்கியம் முதல் நவீன இலக்கியம் வரையிலான இலக்கிய ஆய்வுகள், நாட்டுப்புறவியல், இலக்கணம் மொழியியல் ஆய்வுகள் ,இசை கலை, இலக்கிய, வரலாற்றுப், பண்பாட்டு ஆய்வுகள் மற்றும் தமிழோடு தொடர்புடைய தரமான ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள் இவ்விதழில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. 2013-ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் தொடர்ந்து வெளிவரும் இவ்விதழில் தமிழ்த் துறை பேராசிரியர்கள், அறிஞர்கள், ஆய்வாளர்கள், ஆர்வலர்கள் போன்ற பலரும் தங்கள் ஆய்வு கட்டுரைகளை வெளியிட்டு இதழ் வளர்ச்சிக்கும் தமிழ் மொழி வளர்ச்சிக்கும் அரியதோர் தமிழ்ப் பணிபுரிந்து வருகின்றனர்.
“ஆயுத எழுத்து” இதழ், வெறும் ஒரு வெளியீடு மட்டுமல்ல; அது தமிழ் மொழி, இலக்கியம் மற்றும் பண்பாட்டின் மீதான ஆழ்ந்த அர்ப்பணிப்பின் வெளிப்பாடு ஆகும். தமிழின் அறிவுச் சுடரை ஏந்தி, அதன் ஒளியை உலகெங்கும் பரப்பும் இவ்விதழின் பணி தொடரவும் தமிழியல் ஆய்வு என்ற அறிவுப் பெருங்கடலில், “ஆயுத எழுத்து” என்ற கலங்கரை விளக்கம் என்றென்றும் ஒளிரவும் தாங்களும் தமிழியல் ஆய்வு பயணத்தில் கரம் கோர்த்து பயணிக்க அன்புடன் அழைக்கிறோம்

The Research of Tamil studies includes many fields like Tamil language, Art, Literature, History, Cultural Linguistics Folklore. The Research of Tamil studies is necessary to develop our understanding of Tamil language and culture, to preserve Tamil traditions and pass them on to future generations, to lay a strong foundation for the struggle for social equality and justice, and to develop creative thinking and critical skills.
The study of ecology has evolved over the centuries, starting with the Sangam period. The arrival of European scholars in the 19th century saw the emergence of Tamilology as a formal academic discipline. Today, universities around the world have established departments and seats for the study of Tamil studies. Following this, several research journals in Tamil have been published to publish research articles on Tamilology.
A publication of Pallavi Publishing House, “Ayuda Ezhuthu” is a new platform for the study of Tamil. The first edition of this Journal was published in April 2013. Until 2017, this Journal was published as a quarterly Journal in the months of January, February, July and October, and in the year 2018, it was published as a monthly Journal from January to December 2020. It has been published as a quarterly Journal with new update from 2021. Also, it has conducted more than 20 international seminars in collaboration with many leading universities and colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Literary studies from Sangam literature to modern literature, folklore studies, grammar and linguistic studies, musical art, literary, historical, cultural studies and quality research articles related to Tamil are featured in this Journal. Since 2013, many Tamil department professors, scholars, researchers, activists etc. have published their research articles in this Journal and are working for the development of the Journal and the development of Tamil language.
“Ayuda Ezhuthu” Journal is not just a publication; It is an expression of deep commitment to Tamil language, literature and culture. Carry the flame of knowledge of Tamil and continue the mission of this Journal to spread its light to the world.
